기업개선작업(워크아웃) 중인 삼호가 부도 위기에 처했다. 부산수영만 프로젝트파이낸싱(PF) 사업장 관련 자산담보부기업어음(ABCP) 만기를 막지 못한데 따른 것이다.

26일 삼호는 삼호마린의 ABCP 채무불이행으로 기한의 이익이 상실돼 부도·해산사유가 발생했다고 공시를 통해 밝혔다.

삼호가 삼호마린에 제공한 보증·담보 총액은 959억7942만여원으로 삼호의 지난해 말 기준 자기자본의 82.7%에 달하는 규모다.

삼호측은 ABCP투자자들과 만기 연장 협상에 나섰지만 금리 등 세부 조건에 이견이 발생했다.

ABCP투자자들은 대출금의 절반을 우선 상환하고, 금리를 시장 수준으로 올려 달라고 요구하고 있으며 삼호의 모회사인 대림산업의 연대보증도 원하는 것으로 알려졌다.

앞서 삼호는 부산 수영만 PF사업을 위해 특수목적회사인 삼호마린을 세우고 ABCP를 2000억원을 발행했다. 이중 지난 2009년 7월 1090억원 가량을 상환하고, 만기를 2년간 연장했다.

일단 삼호의 모회사인 대림산업 측은 ABCP투자자들과의 협상이 무산돼 만기일을 넘기게 됐지만 추가 협상을 지속하겠다는 입장인 것으로 전해졌다.
